Evaporation is an endothermic process, and at any temperature, as long as this happens in the vaporization process of the liquid surface. How do you understand the “heat to absorb heat when the liquid evaporates?” From the microscopic point of view, evaporation is the liquid molecules that have escaped from the liquid surface.
