答：溃疡性结肠炎是一种以腹痛腹泻、黏液脓血便为主要临床表现的非特异性炎症性结肠疾病。根据临床表现，借助内窥镜可以确诊。除病变肠段黏膜糜烂、溃疡、出血外，常有肠管僵硬，蠕动减慢或消失，或见病变部位的多发炎性息肉，重者可见肠梗阻或明显贫血。
