可以说,草书是中国书法艺术最为灿烂的一种学体。与其它字体相比较,其最具有抒情性,随机应变乃是其与生俱来的本性。东汉崔瑗《草书势》中即云:草书之法,盖又简略。应时谕指,用于卒迫,兼功并用,爱日省力,纯俭之变,岂必古式。观其法象,方不中矩,圆不中规。由于草书自由放纵的空间大,书家的胸怀可以自由的发挥,更有“颠张醉素”的典故,使得人们无比的青睐,甚至疯狂的趋慕向往。东汉赵壹《非草书》
