在未来的综合宽频带通信网的长途通信网中,传输宽频带的数字信号需要用单模光纤。于是,德意志联邦邮政局(DBP)从战略观点出发,在柏林对柏林4号工程计划中用的单模光纤作了试验,以便进一步采用光纤。本文将介绍AEG电缆公司的单模光纤、光缆的敷设情况和光缆的特性。已敷设好的这段线路的结果表明:这光缆通信线路在1300nm波长时,能够在54公里距离上传输565Mb/s的信号;在1560nm波长时,所敷设的这段线路的损耗低于0.3dB/km,这样,今后在使用1560nm波长时就不受限制了。
In the future integrated broadband communication network of long-distance communication network, the transmission of broadband digital signals need to use single-mode fiber. Thus, from a strategic point of view, the German Federal Post Office (DBP) tested the single-mode fiber used in the Berlin 4 project in Berlin for further fiber optics. This article will introduce AEG Cable’s single-mode fiber, cable laying and cable characteristics. The results of this line have shown that this fiber optic cable can transmit 565Mb / s over a distance of 54km at 1300nm; at 1560nm, the loss of this line is less than 0.3dB / km, so in the future when using the 1560nm wavelength is not limited.
