为了加速东海石油、天然气普查勘探和开发的步伐,适应海洋地质和石油地质工作由概查进入区域详查和井位调查,对高精度导航定位的要求,地矿部上海海洋地质调查局于一九八四年底在东海引进和建立了一套以阿戈和玛西兰为主的高精度无线电导航定位设施。经过一年多的生产实践表明,该系统成功地达到原设计的各项技术指标,可以基本上满足东海陆架海洋地球物理调查、三维地震调查、海洋地质调查、井位调查和钻井装置就位对定位的要求,同时可以开展对国内外需要高精度导航定位的各种船只提供服务。
