钢锭模、气缸盖、排气管等工件,由于在工作中承受交变热负荷作用,常造成开裂而失效,这是工件在热循环过程中因膨胀和收缩受到约束所产生的循环热应力而引起的~([1])。过去,这些工件用普通灰铸铁制造,由于其强度低、寿命短,已不能满足工业发展的需要,为提高铸铁的热疲劳抗力,采用我国富产的 RE 元素对铸铁热疲劳性能的影响进行了系统的研究。
