This is mainly due to the emergence of a large number of drug-resistant strains, which should establish a new vaccination strategy and found a new generation of bacterins. This article describes the research progress in enhancing the immunogenicity of pneumococcal vaccine. And proposed that the preparation of a new generation of bacterins will be based on proteoglycan-conjugated vaccine-induced anti-capsular immunity.
