寻找锰中毒早期诊断指标是防治锰中毒的一个重要课题。本文作者在大鼠及家兔实验性慢性锰中毒时观察了外周血中性粒细胞的一些组织化学指标(过氧化酶、碱性磷酸酶、核酸)、血清蛋白、全血巯基、6-磷酸葡萄糖脱氢酶、尿5-羟基吲哚乙酸及3-甲氧4羟基扁桃酸的改变。结果表明,变化最早的是显示白细胞核核酸异常的红色萤光细胞比重增高,其次是中性白细胞过氧化酶活性改变。这些变化在早期诊断中的使用价值尚需在工矿现场进一步研究确定。
