语言是人与人交流的途径,更是世界各国多样文化的承载。世界各国历史发展过程和价值取向的差异造就了各种文化间的巨大差异。在高中英语的教学过程中,让学生了解到这些文化之间的差异,丰富英语国家的背景知识、语言文化知识,对于英语的学习和跨文化交际都是十分必要的。
Language is a means of communication between people and it is the bearing of diverse cultures in different countries. The differences between the historical development processes and values of various countries in the world have created a great variety of cultural differences. In the teaching process of senior high school English, it is necessary for students to understand the differences among these cultures and to enrich the background knowledge and linguistic knowledge of English-speaking countries for their English learning and intercultural communication.
