In the areas of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi in southern China, strong Caledonian movements occurred during the Paleozoic and Late Paleozoic periods, including three scenes: the Yunan movement in the late Cambrian period, the Duyun movement in the late Ordovician period, Guangxi movement at the end of Silurian; incomplete remnants of Ordovician and Silurian and large-scale ancient continent from Late Ordovician to Silurian --- The distribution of ancient land in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi is an important manifestation of the Caledonian movement. After the Guangxi movement of the end of Silurian, a special “Dianqiangui basin” was formed in the area roughly equivalent to the distribution of the “ancient Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces” in the Early Paleozoic. In addition, the main parts of the Yunnan-Guizhou-Guangxi Basin are often Devonian Directly covered in the Cambrian Department. The Cambrian, especially the Lower Cambrian, generally developed source rocks in the study area due to the rapid transgression of the Early Cambrian. In the study area, the Devonian, especially the Middle Devonian, In the development of high-quality source rock. Therefore, the tremendous structural paleogeography evolution and sea-land transition have resulted in the formation of a late-Paleozoic high-grade Devonian source rock and an Early Paleozoic Lower Cambrian source rock of superficial overlap. The superimposed area of Caledonian The reservoirs above and below the unconformity surface become the target of deep petroleum exploration in the area, which indicates the great potential of hydrocarbon exploration in the deep layer of Yunnan-Guizhou-Guangxi Basin.
