2004年10月20日晚10时30分左右,位于河南新密市和登封市交界的大平煤矿发生瓦斯突出引发瓦斯爆炸事故,148名矿工葬身井下,永远告别了他们的亲人和这个世界。就在大平矿难发生的同时,我和有关部门主管安全生产工作的两位领导踏上了去郑州的列车,计划前往河南的另一个城市了解情况。早上7点,车到郑州,我们被告知大平煤矿发生爆炸,井下还有148人。我们当时都惊呆了,经验告诉我们:这148位矿工生还的可能性极小。
On the night of October 20, 2004, around 10:30 p.m., a gas explosion was triggered by gas outburst at the Daping Coal Mine at the junction of Xinmi City and Dengfeng City in Henan Province. 148 miners were buried underground and they said goodbye to their loved ones and the world forever. Just at the time of the Daping Mine, the two leaders in charge of production safety work with relevant departments embarked on a train to Zhengzhou and planned to go to another city in Henan for information. At 7:00 in the morning, the car to Zhengzhou, we were told that the explosion in Daping Mine, there are 148 underground. We were shocked at that time, and experience tells us that the 148 miners are unlikely to survive.
