为了适应第三代乃至第四代移动通信系统的要求 ,降低网络的造价。提出了虚拟无线通信系统的概念 ,它将软件无线电中通用的可扩展硬件平台应用于个人蜂窝通信网中。按照功能将无线通信系统的基台分为 4部分 :天线、中频、基带、控制 ,并且通过高速的网络互联起来 ,从而实现虚拟化。采用虚拟无线通信系统可以实现快速的越区切换 ,并且可以实现各种宏分集算法。而传统的蜂窝系统结构不容易实现宏分集 ,或者只能采用选择式宏分集。接着着重分析了虚拟无线通信系统在最大比宏分集方面的性能。研究结果表明它比码分多址中的软切换中所采用的选择式宏分集能够带来更低的中断率 ,从而提高系统的覆盖
In order to meet the third generation and even the fourth generation mobile communication system requirements, reduce the cost of the network. The concept of virtual wireless communication system is proposed. It applies the universal scalable hardware platform in software radio to personal cellular communication network. In accordance with the function of the wireless communication system base station is divided into four parts: antenna, IF, baseband, control, and through high-speed Internet interconnection, in order to achieve virtualization. Using a virtual wireless communication system enables fast handoff and various macro-diversity algorithms. The traditional cellular system structure is not easy to achieve macro-diversity, or can only use selective macro-diversity. Then emphatically analyzed the performance of virtual wireless communication system in the aspect of maximum ratio macrodiversity. The results show that it can provide lower interrupt rates than selective macrodiversity used in soft handoff in code division multiple access, thereby increasing system coverage
