随着课改的不断深入,小学英语教学在农村学校也得到了较为广泛的重视。即便是农村小学的英语老师,也非常注重激发、培养学生对英语的学习兴趣。但随着学习的不断深入,学习内容的不断增多,至小学五六年级,农村学校的英语学习往往出现较大的两极分化现象,多数学生难以持久保持对英语的学习兴趣与热情,这也成为如今农村小学英语教学的难题。在农村,想要依靠学生自觉或是家长配合,来拓展英语学习时间和空间是十分困难
