Economic Growth and Income In the Pearl River Delta and east-west wings, the unbalanced distribution in the northern region is a prominent feature of Guangdong’s regional economic development. So what are the reasons for this imbalance? In this paper, theoretical analysis and empirical study of the imbalance between financial intermediation, financial agglomeration and regional economic growth in Guangdong Province are conducted by using the theoretical models and data of the agglomeration of production factors. The conclusion is that in order to maximize the benefits, the accumulation of bank capital and FDI in the Pearl River Delta is one of the main reasons for the unbalanced distribution of economic growth and income in Guangdong Province. This also shows from one aspect that the flow of capital in China is still dominated by the agglomeration of economically developed eastern regions from economically backward regions or abroad. This imbalance in financial development has become a major driving force behind the uneven development of China’s regional economy .
