为深入贯彻党的十六大精神,适应新形势、新任务的要求,提高大学生的思想政治素质,促进大学生的全面发展,中共中央、国务院发布了《关于进一步加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的意见》(以下简称《意见》),这是新时期加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的纲领性文件。《意见》阐述了加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的必要性和重要意义,指明了新时期加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的指导思想和基本原则、主要任务,明确了思想政治教育工作者承担的主要责任。《意见》还对如何营造大学生思想政治教育工作的环境、如何加强对大学生思想政治教育工作的领导等内容作了具体部署。作为为高校马克思主义理论教学与研究服务的学术刊物,我们一直关注着大学生思想政治教育的现状。为深入学习、贯彻、落实《意见》的精神,探索新形势、新任务下大学生思想政治教育的新方法、新途径,本刊专门约请了部分长期从事思想政治教育的专家学者,以“大学生思想政治教育的当代视野”为主题展开笔谈,期望这组笔谈对新时期大学生的思想政治教育工作有所启迪。
