正当全国改革、开放、搞活正在深入进行的时候,四川省新闻工作会议于九月中旬在成都召开,学习贯彻省委《关于加强和改进新闻工作的意见》,总结交流新闻改革的经验,研究如何进一步搞好全省新闻工作。在四川,由省委就新闻工作专门发一个文件,并由宣传部召开这样一个规模的会议,全面讨论新闻工作,这是建国三十多年来的第一次。我们新闻战线的同志,应当抓住这个大好时机,认真学好省委文件,并结合各自的实际,认真研究贯彻省委文件的精神,努力把全省新闻工作提高到一个新的水平。
At a time when the country’s reform, opening up and invigoration are under way, the Sichuan Provincial Press Conference was held in mid-September in Chengdu to study and implement the Provincial Committee’s Opinions on Strengthening and Improving News Work, sum up the exchange of experience in news reform and study how Do a good job in the province’s news work. In Sichuan, the provincial party committee devoted a document to public information work, and the Propaganda Department held such a large-scale meeting to discuss news work in an all-round manner. This is the first time in more than 30 years since the founding of the People’s Republic. Our comrades in the news front should seize this golden opportunity to conscientiously study the documents of the provincial party committees and carefully study and implement the spirit of the provincial party documents in light of their own actual conditions so as to bring the news work of the entire province to a new level.
