Recently, Alion Aerospace signed six new commercial communications satellite launches contracts, bringing the total number of contracts signed by Arian to 13 in 2014 and bringing the total backlog to 40 satellites using Ariane 5 rockets (4 ), Soyuz Rockets (7) and Vega Rockets (9).
