从词类的使用上看，英语多用名词，有静、虚和抽象的特点，汉语多用动词，有动、实和具体的特点。我认为这与西方人擅长抽象思维、中国人偏重形象思维有关。所以，对于翻译来说，英译汉的时候，我们应当适当将一些名词转换为动词，从而使译文顺畅自然，符合汉语表达习惯；汉译英的时候，我们又应当适当将一些动词转换为名词，从而使译文结构严谨，避免拖沓冗长、行文散乱的毛病。
From the point of view of the use of parts of speech, English multiply terms, static, imaginary and abstract features, multi-purpose Chinese verb, dynamic, real and specific features. I think this is Westerners good at abstract thinking, the Chinese emphasis on image thinking. Therefore, when translating English into Chinese, we should properly convert some nouns into verbs, so that the translation will be smooth and natural, conforming to the habit of Chinese expression. When translating English into English, we should also convert some verbs into nouns , So that the structure of the translation is rigorous, to avoid lengthy procrastination, inconsistency of style.
