过去,我们石家庄机务段配属的内燃机车,其循环冷却用水采用自来水加NL型乳化防锈油,浓度在1.0~1.2%之间。但该防锈油质量不稳,价格昂贵,使用中经常发生析油、析皂等失效现象,而且在冷却水系统的内壁上沉淀出一层棕红色粘胶物,降低散热效能,给清洗和检修带来了很大困难。为了改变循环水的性能,提高散热效能,方便检修作业,我段从1979年2月开始研制新的软水配方,经过七个多月上百次的室内筛选,最后选出了一组比较理想的“SJ—1号”有机高分子水质稳定剂。该稳定剂的主要成分包括聚丙稀酸钠、苯骈三氮唑等有机高分子材料。使用时,只是在自来水中加入适量的稳定剂,便可直接注入小水箱内。通过在东风4型0157号机车上两年多的试验表明,防锈、防腐、成本等几个方面,均优于乳化防锈油。
