起源于Inmarsat的ICO公司近日在中国强调,自己是一家真正意义上的全球公司。ICO不属于任何国家,其投资商遍布全球。ICO通过其强有力的当地合作者将考虑到每个国家的当地具体情况。ICO把自己视为当地公司,计划今后在全球成立8～9个当地公司,其中ICO中国公司争取于12个月内建成。 ICO在中国的投资者是北京船舶通信导航公司,该公司是ICO五个最大的投资者之一,也是ICO的13个董事会成员之一。目前北京船舶通信导航公司正与邮电部一起筹建对ICO的联合投资公司。投资公司将是在中国经营ICO的唯一实体,并负责ICO十二个San站之一的国内上海浦东Sun站
ICO, which originated in Inmarsat, recently emphasized in China that it is a truly global company. ICO does not belong to any country, its investors around the world. The ICO, through its strong local partners, will take into account the local context of each country. ICO sees itself as a local company and plans to set up 8 to 9 local companies around the world in the future, with ICO China seeking to be completed in 12 months. ICO’s investor in China is Beijing Shipbuilding & Navigation Company, one of ICO’s five largest investors and one of the ICO’s 13 board members. At present, Beijing Shipbuilding and Navigation Company is planning to jointly set up a joint investment company for ICO with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. The investment company will be the sole entity operating ICO in China and is responsible for the domestic Shanghai Pudong Sun Station, one of the ICO’s 12 San stations
