全国第二届篆刻展览的评选工作于六月二日至五日在山东烟台进行。这是继一九八八年首届篆刻展以后的印坛又一次大会师、大检阅。从征稿情况来看,地区覆盖面之广泛是空前的,而投稿之踊跃,也是近几年来林林总总的各类篆刻赛,篆刻展中少见的。这说明了全国印人对这一大展的支持和重视。
