Through the analysis of the survey data of multi-period cross-section, it is found that the evaluation of the government by a new generation of young people is affected by two paths of “Internet” and “social fairness” after “80s” and “90s” influences. In contrast, the Internet has a limited effect on government evaluation and the impact of social justice on government evaluation is decisive. After controlling for the use of the Internet and the sense of social equity, the intergenerational effects of government evaluation no longer exist. According to this research, we put forward relevant policy suggestions from the perspectives of adjusting public expectations of the government, changing Internet construction ideas, and actively creating a sense of social justice so as to provide a policy reference for the government to build itself.
