由科技部、公安部、住房和城乡建设部、交通运输部等共同发起,经民政部批准成立的中国智能交通协会5月14日在北京正式成立。科技部党组成员、纪检组组长吴忠泽任中国智能交通协会首届理事长。全国政协副主席、致公党中央主席、科技部部长万钢任协会名誉理事长。
By the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Transport co-sponsored by the Ministry of Civil Affairs approved the establishment of the China Intelligent Transportation Association was formally established in Beijing on May 14. Ministry of Science and party members, discipline inspection team leader Wu Zhongze served as the first chairman of China Intelligent Transportation Association. Vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the KMT, Wan Gang, Minister of Science and Technology as honorary chairman of the association.
