铁矿石和稀土矿石中磷的测定,以前多是采用磷钼黄法、硫酸肼或抗坏血酸钼兰法。磷钼黄法在日常成批的分析中,速度较慢、且灵敏度低。钼兰法在室温下发色不完全,多是采用加热使其发色完全,不易掌握,成批分析中仍感不方便。以抗坏血酸作还原剂、铋盐作催化剂钼兰法测定磷,1956年由Jean提出,1966年由焦作矿山机械厂介绍并用于钢铁方面的分析,1975年又报导了对该方法的可变因素进行的研究。
