栗宪庭(以下简称“栗”):我一直很喜欢你的画,你画里至纯的绘画性和造型上的童稚般的幽默感,在当代艺坛非常独特,让人过目难忘。我为这篇对谈起名为《大纯的幽默》,“大纯”是你的名字,也是我对你作品的感觉,就是觉得在这个充满功利的社会里,你的画里传达出的纯粹的幽默,像一首减弱了时代和意识形态特征的古老童谣,让人们感受到一股清新的气息。但它又不是真的像儿童画那样的看和表达,只是就它对于宏观的社会眼光和视觉模式来说,是一种童稚般的幽默感。它摆脱了某种社会功利和意识形态虚假大主题的束缚,以孩童般的心境看和表现周围的世界,我把它看作是一种心境,和这种心境下所产生的一种独特的视觉模式。或者说正是你在乎看和表达上的这种纯粹性,而区别于儿童画,因为在儿童画中画什么和怎么画是同等重要的,而对于你,画什么只是一种借口,重要的是你怎么画的过程,所以我用了“大纯”来区别于童稚童趣。正是这种绘画的纯粹性,让我联想起文人画注重绘画纯粹性的视觉模式,比如笔的味道,形的味道等等。你学画时在江南,对文人画耳濡目染, 我想问你有没有学过或者受过文人画的影响?
Li Xianting: I always love your paintings. The pure painting and the childlike sense of style in your paintings are very unique and memorable in the contemporary art scene. My name for this talk is “Pure Humor,” “Big Pure” is your name and my feeling for your work, that is, in your utilitarian society, what is conveyed in your paintings Pure humor, like an old nursery rhyme that has diminished the characteristics of the times and ideology, gives people a fresh breath. But it is not really looking and expressing like children’s drawings, but rather a childish sense of humor in terms of its macroscopic social vision and visual modalities. It got rid of the shackles of some kind of social utilitarian and ideological false theme and looked and expressed the world around it in a childlike mood. I saw it as a state of mind and a unique Visual mode. Or you just care about this purity of look and expression, but different from children’s drawing, because it is equally important to draw in children’s drawing and how to draw, and what is drawing an excuse for you is important How do you paint the process, so I used the “big pure” to distinguish from childlike childlike. It is the purity of this painting that reminds me of the visual modes in which literati paintings focus on the purity of painting, such as the taste of the pen, the taste of the shape, and so on. When you study painting in Jiangnan, you can see the literati painting. I want to ask you whether you have learned or been influenced by the literati painting.
