20世纪是知识不断创新、科学技术突飞猛进、世界深刻变化的世纪。现在,知识和科技的更新速度日益加快,科学技术创新将成为21世纪经济和社会发展的主导力量,基础研究的突破,将大大增强自主创新能力,实现科学技术的跨越式发展。基础研究要坚持有所为、有所不为,选准方向,突出重点,面向国际水平。重点课题应该是最新的,它可以带动一个产业的发展,或者创造一个新的学科。为此,我们特约发中科院大连化学物理研究所的文章,以引起各界对化学基础研究工作的关注。
The 20th century is a century of constant innovation in knowledge, rapid scientific and technological progress and profound changes in the world. At present, the speed of knowledge and science and technology update is accelerating day by day. Science and technology innovation will become the leading force in economic and social development in the 21st century. Breakthroughs in basic research will greatly enhance the capability of independent innovation and achieve a leapfrog development in science and technology. Basic research should insist on doing something, failing to do so, choosing the right direction, focusing on the key points and facing the international standard. Key topics should be the latest, it can drive the development of an industry, or create a new discipline. To this end, we made an appointment with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics articles to arouse the attention of all walks of life on the basis of chemical research.
