韶山型电力机车双边传动牵引电动机均要求电机电枢能横向窜动(即电枢相对机座在轴向能够少量移动)以适应轮对横向窜动的需要。为满足长期运行后某些部件磨耗引起的误差,要求牵引电动机电枢有较大的横向窜动量。而牵引电动机在功率大,空间小的情况下,又不允许电枢有很大的横向窜动,这是一个矛盾。为此,要求牵引电机应合理设计,以使电枢能有最大的横向窜动量,并使其分布合理,又得到最充分的利用。同时要求轮对组装正确,消除不必要的偏差,使有限的窜动量得到最大的利用。窜动量的选择是电机各有关尺寸配合得
