阅读作为一种技能在语言交际中起着十分重要的作用。阅读理解一直是历年高考英语卷中的重头戏,可以说,阅读理解水平高是在英语考试中致胜的关键。因此,高中英语教学应注重对学生阅读能力的培养。在新课改理念的引领下,如何提高高中英语阅读课堂教学质量,培养学生阅读兴趣,提高学生的阅读能力是当前中学英语教师所面临的重要课题。
Reading as a skill plays a very important role in verbal communication. Reading comprehension has always been the highlight of the college entrance examination in English. It can be said that reading comprehension is the key to success in the English exam. Therefore, high school English teaching should focus on the cultivation of students’ reading ability. Under the guidance of the new curriculum reform concept, how to improve the teaching quality of high school English reading class, develop the students ’reading interest and improve the students’ reading ability are the important topics that secondary school English teachers are facing now.
