供应链整合中的VMI策略合作是21世纪经济发展的一个重要特征。通过合作实现双赢,是当今企业发展的潮流。在一个困难层出不穷、市场瞬息万变、机遇稍纵即逝的环境中,任何单个组织不可能长期具有高水平的竞争力甚至独立生存的能力。现代企业的竞争已不仅仅是企业之间的竞争,而是演进为经过整合的不同供应链之间的竞争。供应链的整合有利于在更大的空间和时间范围内优化资源的配置,减少重复、无效劳动,优化业务流程,缩短物流时间,降低物流成本,提高利润,从而提高其整体效益和企业竞争优势,使这条供应链各个环节上的企业都从中受益。供应链的集成,不仅是物流的集成、信息流的集成,还是企业关系的集成,并且通过企业之间的关系集成来实现供应链上信息与物流的集成。
