The author of 210 workers exposed to benzene, toluene and 174 workers control workers were observed cellular immunity levels were analyzed. The results showed that: (1) The positive rate of T lymphocytes (TLC%) and the absolute number of T lymphocytes (TLC) in the contact group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and decreased with the increase of the working-age of benzene. (2) TLC% and TLC absolute number decreased with the decrease of white blood cell to some extent, white blood cell count is still in the normal range, TLC% and TLV absolute number have a decreasing trend. This suggests that benzene, toluene on the work of women’s cell immune does have an impact, and damage to TLC earlier than WBC. The TLC number is an early objective indicator of the body’s sensitivity to chronic effects of benzene.
