了解钢的淬透性对选择和设计合金有着重要意义。早在四十年代,M·A·Grossmann 等人就定量地研究了各种合金元素对钢的淬透性的影响。目前,对使用电子计算机来予测淬透性的研究也日益受到重视,并且已经出现了一些予测淬透性的方法和经验公式,但是由于这些予测法的经验性本质而导致在应用上具有局限性。本文进行了用电子计算机计算中碳低合金钢的淬透性曲线的研究,编制了计算程序,用该程序计算了45Si2C_r 钢的淬透性曲线,结果与实测曲线拟合得很好,这为进一步编制计算各种中碳低合金钢淬透性曲线普遍适用的程序奠定了基础。
