杨成武将军1945年1月写的《冀中平原上的地道斗争》这部专著,作为冀中军区司令部的绝密文件油印下发,距今已47年有余。在辽宁大学出版社正式出版之际,杨成武将军颇有感慨,在恳请当年晋察冀军区的老首长为之题词时,对身旁的工作人员说:“这本小册子集中了冀中军民的智慧,是中华民族在反对外来侵略中用血汗换来的……在冀中,经过多年的反复较量,我们化无险可守的平原为不可攻克的要塞,广泛开展地道斗争,彻底粉碎了所谓日军不可战胜的神话,不仅振奋了全中国人民,而且对世界人民的影响也很大。”
