When it comes to how to prevent prostate cancer, there is nothing easier than a routine examination at the doctor’s office, according to Fox News. However, it may be easier to choose to eat some tomatoes. According to new research published in Cancer Epidemiology Biomarker and Prevention Studies, eating at least 10 servings of tomatoes a week reduces the risk of developing prostate cancer by 18%. In this study, researchers compared the eating habits of 1806 prostate cancer patients with 12 055 cancer-free men at Bristol, Cambridge and Oxford respectively. They found that men taking more dietary selenium, calcium, and lycopene had a lower risk of prostate cancer
