1 Introduction Infrared (3 ~ 5) μm and (8 ~ 14) μm wavelength atmospheric transmittance, known as the atmospheric window. All objects on Earth emit radiant heat (electromagnetic waves), usually at the central wavelength in the infrared band. When using this wavelength to map an object at normal temperature, it is required to detect the temperature difference below 0.1K.
