印度图书情报学教育的历史源远流长,可分为早期萌芽阶段、接受期、发展期、现代化时期4个阶段,每个阶段所面临的社会情境各有不同,因而其教育形式、课程设置、培养目标皆有所不同。新形势下,印度图书情报学教育也面临消逝危险、就业困难等困境,对此印度政府将图书情报学教育视为适应知识社会的必不可少的通识教育。最后探讨印度图书情报学教育蓬勃发展的原因以及对我国图书情报学教育的启示。
The history of library and information science education in India goes back to ancient times. It can be divided into four stages: early germination stage, reception stage, development stage and modernization stage. Each stage of social education has different social situations. Therefore, the education form, curriculum and training objectives Are different. Under the new situation, the education of library and information science in India also faces such difficulties as the disappearance of danger and employment difficulties. Therefore, the Indian government regards library and information science education as an indispensable general education adapted to knowledge society. Finally, it discusses the reasons for the rapid development of Indian library and information science education and its enlightenment to the education of library and information science in our country.
