本文叙述了海底光缆用的刚直型接头盒的结构设计。从理论和实验二方面研究了接头盒设计的主要因素:光缆的锚固定结构、终端处光纤的移动、光纤的储存结构以及接头盒的最大尺寸。最后,确定了决定接头盒最佳结构的设计方法。试制的接头盒(长度为1.7米,直径为19厘米)适用于现有的敷设、打捞设备,具有极好的操作性能、机械性能且几乎不引起光损耗的增加。
This article describes the structural design of rigid connector box for submarine cable. The main factors of splice box design are studied in theory and experiment. The anchoring structure of fiber optic cable, the movement of fiber at terminal, the storage structure of fiber and the maximum size of splice box are studied. Finally, the design method of determining the best structure of the connector box is determined. The trial version of the connector box (1.7 m in length and 19 cm in diameter) is suitable for use in existing laying and salvage equipment with excellent handling and mechanical properties with little or no loss of light.
