一、世界社会主义运动的严重挫折,绝不意味着社会主义的“失败”,而是再一次表明社会主义事业的艰巨性、曲折性。20世纪80年代末90年代初的苏东剧变使世界社会主义运动遭受巨大挫折。原共产党执政的国家,目前仅存中国、越南、朝鲜、老挝、古巴5个,社会主义国家的面积从原来占世界1/4下降为1/7,全世界共产党人数减少了3000万,世界社会主义运动在经历了辉煌岁月之后,一下子跌入低谷。西方敌对势力断言:这标志着马克思主义的“大失败”,社会主义的“历史终结”,“20世纪兴起的社会主义,必将在20世纪灭亡”。一时间“社会
