在传统的中国式英语教育中,教师习惯按照课本照本宣科地读、讲,让学生掌握基本的单词、语法、语句,并把学生的掌握情况作为英语学得好不好的评判标准,这种“填鸭式”的教育,使“高分低能”的现象普遍存在。技工学校作为教育机构的一个特殊教育机构,区别于义务教育,以培养技能为主,因此在技工学校提高英语教学水平显得非常必要。从英语情景教学的角度出发,针对我国技工学校英语教学方面存在的问题进行深入分析,并提出了相关的优化策略,引导学生从整体上理解和运用英语这门特殊语言。
