From July 1991 to December 1995, 135 cases of low malignant obstructive jaundice were treated with modified Rouxen-Y gallbladder/biliary jejunostomy. Follow-up showed that this procedure can prevent bile duct retrograde, besides good yellow reduction and control of biliary infection, and it is simple and easy.
