经济增长为民主的形成提供了物质基础,而民主为经济增长创造了宽松的政治环境,经济增长与民主发展互为因果关系。要找出两者的因果关系就好像回答“鸡生蛋还是蛋生鸡”的问题一样,无法回答,《民主与经济增长的因果关系分析》一文也没有给出明确的答案,但是在阅读原文探索其答案的过程,让笔者深入学习了经济增长和民主发生相互作用机制,了解了格兰杰因果关系检验方法在经济学中的应用,启发了笔者对于研究类似“鸡生蛋还是蛋生鸡”问题的思路。
Economic growth has provided the material basis for the formation of democracy. Democracy has created a relaxed political environment for economic growth. Economic growth and democratic development are mutually causal relationships. To find out the causal relationship between the two is like answering the question of “chicken or egg chicken” and can not answer the question. The article “Analysis of the Cause and Effect Relationship between Democracy and Economic Growth” did not give a clear answer. However, at Read the original to explore the answer to the process, let the author in-depth study of economic growth and democratic mechanisms of interaction to understand the Granger causality test method in economics, inspired the author for the study of similar Egg chicken "problem of thinking.
