刘肇怀,1982年毕业于中山大学无线电物理专业,是首批通过中美物理联考的赴美留学生;1987年,获得美国犹他州大学物理学博士学位;1987-1990年间,在美国普林斯顿大学从事博士后研究;1990-1994年间,在美国普林斯顿NEC研究学院从事科学研究,在半导体物理学和光电子(光与激光对半导体的影响)领域发表了42篇科学论文(国外期刊)。
Liu Zhaohuai, graduated from Zhongshan University with a major in radio physics in 1982, is one of the first batch of students who have passed the Sino-American Physics Entrance Examination to the United States. He received his Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Utah in 1987 and a Ph.D. in physics from 1987 to 1990 at Princeton University in the United States Research; from 1990 to 1994, he engaged in scientific research at NEC Research Institute in Princeton, USA and published 42 scientific papers (foreign journals) in the field of semiconductor physics and optoelectronics (the influence of light and laser on semiconductors).
