用“江城如画里,山晚望晴空”来形容西门子在中国近些年来取得的业绩并不为过。从20世纪90年代初至今,西门子在华的销售额实现了从2亿欧元到近40亿欧元的增长,14 个业务集团,包括电力、自动化与控制、信息与通讯、交通、医疗、照明等在内的全部业务均已进入中国。近几年来,西门子的每一项业务都在不断增长, 2004年5月,正值西门子(中国)有限公司首家在华办事处成立100周年之际, 西门子(中国)有限公司公布了在中国市场的新一轮投资战略:未来3~5年内将向中国市场投入10亿欧元,涉及到西门子所有的技术领域和业务方向,并力争实现销售额再翻一番。
