The authors conduct a questionnaire survey on the resources sharing network construction in mainland academic,public and research libraries,and survey results show that information resources sharing network construction in mainland libraries has met fundamental requirements by carrying out various network modes and has already achieved favorable social benefits.Incentive mechanisms,assessment mechanisms and Regulations for the Protection of Information Network Transmission Right are indispensable components for sustainable development of resources sharing network which has a strong dependence on the government.What’s more,it is found that budget shortage is the major factor restricting libraries to join the resources sharing network.
