2004年9月，广西区直某事业单位招聘一批党员职工，大学毕业一年多的党员小李，历经面试、笔试，过五关，斩六将，终于拿到录用通知书。谁知，当小李兴冲冲地到单位报到时，单位却因党组织关系问题取消了他的录用资格。原来，小李大学毕业时，将人事关系放在自治区人才中心托管，党组织关系介绍信也开到他所居住的社区。而他因忙于找工作，没有到社区党组织接转关系，一年多没有过组织生活，也没有交纳党费，被视为自行脱党，工作因此“得而复失”。
