系膜细胞在维持肾小球结构、功能和在肾小球疾病的发病机制中起到关键作用。近来发现在系膜细胞中优势表达的m egsin基因可能在肾小球疾病发生发展中起到重要作用。M egsin是serp in超家族的新成员,在IgA肾病、糖尿病肾病患者肾脏组织中表达增加,并且过度表达m egsin的转基因小鼠亦出现系膜细胞增生和基质扩张并伴有免疫复合物的沉积。蛋白组学的研究发现,m egsin可与plasm in结合并抑制plasm in的活性。进一步对m egsin的研究可为肾脏疾病的诊断和治疗提供新的方法。
Mesangial cells play a key role in maintaining the glomerular structure, function and pathogenesis of glomerular diseases. Proteomics studies have found that m egsin binds to plasm in and inhibits the activity of plasm in. Further study of m egsin can provide a new method for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease.
