Founded in 1932, the Indian Air Force is an older air force in the world. However, at various times during the army’s establishment, its development has been uneven. In the early days of the army, the Indian Air Force developed relatively slowly. Only after the 1960s did the Indian Air Force begin to strengthen its army of quality. By the 1970s and 1980s, the Indian Air Force reached its peak and basically completed its modernization. After the 1990s, due to the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the domestic economic hardships in India, the Indian Air Force, while ambitious, has been slow to develop and many major development plans have been seriously delayed. In 1994, India’s foreign military cooperation has been greatly improved, and Russia has re-provided India with military technology and equipment. At the same time, India’s national defense expenditures showed an upward trend, changing the trend of declining for seven consecutive years. Therefore, this year saw a new turning point in the development of the Indian Air Force and a return to the path of accelerating development.
