基质金属蛋白酶(matrix metalloproteinase,MMP)-2在细胞外基质的破坏中起主要作用,在颞下颌关节内紊乱症和骨关节炎患者滑膜中可检测到高水平MMP-2。本研究旨在确定人髁状突软骨中MMP-2的免疫组织化学定位。 材料和方法 标本取自自愿捐献的51具尸体,男25,女26,平均年龄79.7岁(62~95岁),共85个髁状突及关节盘(男43,女42)。肉眼观察中有59个标本(69.4%)可见明显的髁状突表面变形。其中11个(12.9%)盘穿孔,另外48个(56.5%)无盘穿
Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) -2 plays a major role in the destruction of the extracellular matrix and high levels of MMP-2 can be detected in the synovium of patients with temporomandibular disorders and osteoarthritis. The aim of this study was to determine the immunohistochemical localization of MMP-2 in human condylar cartilage. MATERIALS AND METHODS Specimens were obtained from 51 donated bodies, 25 males and 26 females, with an average age of 79.7 years (62-95 years) and 85 condyles and articular discs (male 43, female 42). Fifty-nine specimens (69.4%) in the macroscopic observation showed obvious condylar surface deformation. Eleven of them (12.9%) were perforated, and the other 48 (56.5%) were perforated
