45年来,他悉心地守护着瘫痪的妻子;45年来,他以执著和坚毅为妻子开掘着幸福的甘泉。他就是兵团勘测设计院地勘分院66岁的退休职工任维胜。1964年,30岁的任维胜从部队转业。满怀志向的他带着年轻美丽的妻子和刚满周岁的孩子,从山东来到新疆。之后,任维胜被分配到地处南疆和田地区的兵团独立汽车三营工作,妻子池洪珍在家照顾孩子。虽然条件很艰苦,但一家人非常幸福。天有不测风云。1966年5月,24岁的池洪珍被医院确诊为脊椎结核。
