据悉,2004年全国港口投资约300亿元,比2003年增加100亿元。根据对“十一五”期的经济发展和水路交通需求预测,预计“十一五”计划期间全国沿海港口码头、航道基础设施建设及长江干流南京以下航道等建设与技术改造工程,大约需要1000-1200亿元。为保证“十一五”沿海港口建设目标的实现,满足国民经济发展的需要,进一步拓展沿海港口企业融资渠道已是当务之急。
