Flat-faced clam, with a blue-brown nacre, is a potential cultivating color-specific pearls. The choice of different breeding methods has an important influence on the growth and survival of flat-clam. In this study, cone cages and bottom sowing were used to breed flat-legged clam for six months. The effects of two breeding methods on the growth of flat-clam, such as length, shell width, shell height and body weight, and their survival Rate of influence in order to explore a suitable flat clam clam farming methods. The results showed that the growth rates of shell length, shell height, shell width and body weight were 137.95%, 143.84%, 152.63% and 92.68% respectively, while the bottom sowing There were significant differences (p <0.05) between shellfish and bottom shell in terms of shell length, shell size, shell size, shell size, shell size and shell size. The total survival rates of the suspended shellfish during the six-month cultivation period were 100%, 75.56%, 82.22%, 91.11%, 98.89% and 82.22% respectively, while the total survival rate of the bottom shellfish was 100% and 66.67% 74.44%, 88.89%, 100% and 91.11%. The survival rates of the cultured shellfish in the four months of 5,6,7,8 were significantly higher than those in the bottom shell (p <0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in September (p> 0.05) The effect was that the survival rate of bottom shellfish was higher than that of suspended shellfish (p <0.05). This shows that both the growth traits and the survival rate of conical cages are more suitable for the cultivation of flat pincers than bottom sowing.
